Circus - "Rouge Merveille"

With her arms outstretched, suspended above the void, Mélusine Lavinet-Drouet takes the time to inhabit the air. In *Rouge Merveille*, vertigo becomes a space of focus, humor, and poetry, where every gesture seems to amplify the silence around it.

In this solo conceived by Chloé Moglia, hanging in mid-air is not just a feat of skill: it’s a way to slow down the gaze and enter into a different perception of time. Mélusine climbs up, settles in, and finds her place up there, as if this height were temporarily becoming her home. On her phone, she plays some music, opens a book, and flips through fragments of poetry. Below, the audience watches this body as it holds its ground, trembles, breathes, and persists. Straddling fragility and radiant presence, *Rouge Merveille* invites us to observe what emerges when almost nothing moves, and yet everything is transforming.
