Christmas shows at the Centre Maurin des Maures, for all ages.
Saturday, December 19: “The Story of Quasimodo.”
“Amid laughter, songs, and heartfelt moments, young and old alike will rediscover the story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame like never before.
A Frollo who’s a bit too depressed, an irresistible Esmeralda, a soldier Phoebus who’s as kind as he is clumsy, and a mischievous Quasimodo: a funny, lively, and touching musical for young audiences.
One day, Quasimodo dares to leave his bell tower to join in the great Festival of Fools. But his strict guardian, Judge Frollo, won’t have any of it. Fortunately, his encounter with the beautiful Esmeralda will turn his life upside down.”
Sunday, December 20: “Edouard and the Curse of Time”
“In every train station around the world, there are platforms you can’t see, passages that only dreamers know how to find.
Discover the fabulous story of a sorcerer’s apprentice named Édouard Beaubois and the curse of time that nearly changed his destiny forever.
A musical adventure blending song, dance, magic, theater, and wonder.”
Monday, December 21: “We Lost the Keys to the Sleigh”
“Augustin is a giant elf—a rare occurrence—and he works for Santa Claus with passion. Eager but terribly clumsy, he used to complain about having no responsibilities.
This year, he was entrusted with a mission worthy of his size: parking Santa’s sleigh. Mission accomplished with flying colors—until he was asked for the keys to move the sleigh to the gift-loading dock. He couldn’t remember where he’d put them.
It’s a disaster. Augustin will move heaven and earth to find that darn key, and he’ll need all the help the kids can give.
After “Pirate Island,” Max returns with all his energy, much to the delight of audiences young and old. A colorful and highly interactive theater show, with a touch of magic and a ton of humor, set against a Christmas backdrop.”
Tuesday, December 22: “1 Clown for 2”
“A circus show that’s funny, poetic, and playful all at once.
Two clowns meet, challenge each other, and try their hand at magic and circus acts. From chase scenes to flirtation, they’ll use every trick in the book to get what they want.
With the rhythm of a cartoon, the show draws the audience into a world where dance, juggling, magic, and acrobatic lifts blend together. Circus, magic, and laughter—for the whole family.”
Wednesday, December 23: The Big Kids’ Party—featuring activities, gifts, Disney characters, and more. Refreshments available on site.
