Chestnut Race

Traditional race in the village of Collobrières. Follow the roads and paths of Collobrières for 12 km.

This year marks the 44th edition, set against our charming Provençal backdrop that you’re already familiar with – as iconic as our chestnuts!



Whether it’s for a personal challenge, to prepare for a half-marathon, or simply an excuse to come and see us, our race is made for you.
Still a 12 km race, but this year it starts on Saturday at 4.30 pm, so you can enjoy the sunset!



Upon registration, every participant will receive a free jar of the famous and unrivalled chestnut cream!
At the finish line, a friendly chestnut-cracking party awaits you, accompanied by a nice, cold beer to top up your energy.

The podium finishers will take home some lovely local prizes because, in Collobrières, we love to treat people!
And as the little chestnut-runners are also entitled to their moment of glory, the race is free for them!
