The vines have been replanted in a north-south direction on well-balanced limestone soils that have been subsoiled, drained and levelled, and extend over several sunny terraces. Situated at an altitude of 380 m in a microclimate-generating conch, this terroir is highly favorable to vines already cultivated by the Romans. The soil is maintained according to ancient practices = claws, ploughing, no weedkillers or chemical fertilizers... The vines are trellised with 3 wires (1 m 80) and destemmed before veraison to maintain a maximum yield of 35 hectoliters per hectare. Treatments are traditional, mainly copper and sulfur.
