"Catharsis" circus show

Circus show presented by the company "Les Complémentaires" from the Rhône-Alpes region 50 minutes Ages 8 and up

A bridge, a fall, a leap.
Blending circus and live music, *Catharsis* transforms emotions into acrobatics and explores the trust at the heart of our relationships with others.
On stage, a festive Balkan atmosphere takes hold to the sound of live music.
Amid tensions, leaps, and moments of suspension, aerialist Mariana Boldini and her partner Basile Orest invent a relationship built on calculated risks and constant attention.
She takes the risk. He catches her. Again and again.
In this production, which was hosted in residence by the Pôle last season, the circus becomes the language of a human adventure where love, fear, surrender, and trust are intimately intertwined.
Between tenderness and vertigo, *Catharsis* envisions a physical and visceral journey driven by the energy of the bodies and live music.
A spectacular 2026 production that reminds us how much encountering another person means always letting go.

“A well-balanced circus production, with a highly polished dramaturgy likely to appeal to a wide audience.” Cult News.
