Presentation

It is known as the "Pont de Madame", probably in memory of Thérèse Isnard de la Martre, the local chatelaine, who financed its construction in 1735 to replace an older bridge on the royal road from Draguignan to Castellane.

Situated at the foot of the village, it is set in a magnificent landscape, between the turquoise waters of the Artuby and the bright green of the surrounding fields and hills. It's part of a pleasant hiking trail from the village of La Martre that takes you to the foothills of the Brouis mountain.
