Bauduen: in the footsteps of the Resistance

A day celebrating heritage, history, remembrance and camaraderie On Saturday 19 September, Bauduen invites you to a day dedicated to discovery, remembrance and sharing.

La journée débutera par une visite du village, l’occasion de partir à la découverte du patrimoine bâti de Bauduen, de ses ruelles, de ses maisons et de son histoire. Une promenade pour porter un autre regard sur le village, son architecture et les traces laissées par les générations qui l’ont façonné.

La journée prendra ensuite une dimension historique avec la projection du film « Maquisards », consacrée à l’histoire de la Résistance.

Cette projection sera suivie d’une conférence de Jean-Marie Guillon, historien, autour de la Résistance à Bauduen et dans le Verdon. À travers son regard d’historien et ses connaissances sur la Provence des années 1940, il reviendra sur cette période particulière de notre histoire locale, sur les femmes et les hommes qui se sont engagés et sur le rôle joué par notre territoire dans la Résistance.

Un temps fort pour mieux connaître notre patrimoine, comprendre notre histoire locale et faire vivre la mémoire.

Une soirée sous le signe de la convivialité
Après ces temps de découverte et de mémoire, la journée se poursuivra dans une ambiance chaleureuse et festive.

Un apéritif sera proposé en fin de journée, avant de partager un traditionnel aïoli, véritable moment de convivialité autour de la table.

A walk that will give you a fresh perspective on the village, its architecture and the traces left by the generations who shaped it.

The day will then take on a historical dimension with a screening of the film ‘Maquisards’, which focuses on the history of the Resistance.

This screening will be followed by a talk by Jean-Marie Guillon, a historian, on the Resistance in Bauduen and the Verdon region. Through his historian’s perspective and his knowledge of Provence in the 1940s, he will reflect on this particular period in our local history, on the men and women who became involved, and on the role played by our region in the Resistance.

A highlight offering the chance to learn more about our heritage, understand our local history and keep memories alive.

An evening of conviviality
Following these moments of discovery and remembrance, the day will continue in a warm and festive atmosphere.

An aperitif will be served at the end of the day, before we share a traditional aioli – a truly convivial moment around the table.
