AVSANE Association Varoise pour la Sauvegarde de l'Agriculture, de la Nature et de l'Environnement

Founded in 1801, AVSANE is an approved departmental association. It does not provide any services. Its aim is to protect the environment in the fields of air, land, river and sea.
AVSANE participates in the work of commissions set up by prefectural, territorial and socio-professional authorities, so as to contribute to debates and give its opinion on decisions to preserve the environment as part of sustainable development and planning projects.
AVSANE organizes conferences for the general public on the environment, biodiversity, natural and cultural heritage, scientific discoveries, economic development, etc.
AVSANE organizes visits to remarkable cultural, natural, industrial and scientific sites in the region for its members.
AVSANE publishes a biannual magazine on the above topics. The magazines and the program of events are available on our website.
