The Association Callian Au Fil Du Temps has been working for 30 years to preserve the heritage of Callian, one of the oldest villages in the Pays de Fayence, dominated by a medieval castle, with its winding streets and flower-filled alleyways.
Surrounded by passionate volunteers, Nelly Maillard-Guillon has chaired the Callian Au Fil Du Temps association since 2010.
She follows in the footsteps of equally committed presidents, supporting the restoration of the Saint-Donat chapel,
the classification of the parish church (1685) Notre-Dame de l'Assomption, which is now awaiting funding for restoration.
The research carried out by the association and the organization of a large number of events - concerts, conferences, garage sales, exhibitions and publications - have also enabled us to restore:
three large paintings by the master Louis Abraham Van Loo ( 1653 -1712),
the Napoleonic land register, etc. .
Following an appeal for donations, Callian Au Fil Du Temps initiated and financed in 2021,
the restoration of the statue of the Virgin and Child Jesus, which now,
as it once did, in the village square, gives the first image of the parish church's
of the parish church.
You can support our association through your membership or donations (membership and donations entitle you to a tax receipt, which our Association is authorized to issue), or become a sponsor of all or part of a restoration project.
