I talk about the strong bond that now ties me to Jerusalem, after spending six years there. While I was there, I worked as a freelance journalist. In this show, I give a sincere account, without embellishment or naivety, where Arabic and Hebrew resonate in every sentence and anecdote. It is a nuanced narrative that seeks to provide a deeper understanding of what is happening in these magical, intense and deeply troubled places. Finally, the story pays tribute to all the people I met there, from Jerusalem to Gaza, via Bethlehem and Haifa, those who welcomed me and helped me to understand what is happening there, with sensitivity and humanity.
