After several decades of absence, the Grand Prix is coming back to the legendary circuit of Castellet. It is an outstanding course with a unique atmosphere. A major event not to be missed! Usually in June, the event will take place in july in 2022.

The Medieval festivals in Les-Arcs-sur-Argens .

The Festivals of Castrum d’Arcus take place every odd-numbered year. The scenes are being set in the medieval village of Les-Arcs-sur-Argens! There are: parades, comedy sketches, quintain jousting tournaments, the Octroi tour (coin minting, rope making, magic tricks and wax sealing), weapon firing, on foot duelling tournaments, a medieval market, roadside entertainment and sound and light shows every evening.

JAZZ FESTIVALS .

The summer season is marked with several festivals where visitors can discover different types of jazz. Suitable for both beginners and seasoned listeners, these festivals allow visitors to enjoy the balmy summer evenings and savour the talent of the internationally-renowned musicians. By the sea, in the vineyards or in village squares, jazz is everywhere, in the Verdon (Aups, Régusse, Tourtour, Villecroze, Moissac-Bellevue), in Brignoles, La Seyne-sur-Mer, Porquerolles (Hyères), Ramatuelle, Saint-Raphaël, Toulon, Tourrettes. Also enjoy jazz in Cavalaire in September and in Draguignan in November.

Art and Wine .

Each summer, from June to September, the region’s independent wine-growers welcome artists into their territories and châteaus. It brings together Wine and the Arts. The art comes in many different forms:

– exhibitions that showcase vineyards, wine cellars, gardens and other unusual spaces in these territories (there will be: photographers, visual artists, painters, sculptures, illustrators, graffiti artists, mosaic artists, designers, etc.)
– shows by performing artists (musicians, storytellers, magicians, etc.) who will perform improvised scenes throughout the territory
– wine tourism events (lectures, gastronomy and wine, vineyard walks, etc.)
